How to add a .pdf download to your website

Including a button from which users can download a .pdf file from your website can be very handy. So, we wanted to tell you how to do that!

1. From your Go.iOPW dashboard, click on the “pages” tab.

2. Once on the “pages” tab, locate the page you would like to apply the change to and click the “detail” button.

3. From the “detail” page, click the “edit” button.

4. On the “edit” page, scroll to the bottom and click on “next: content”.

5. Once in the page editor, decide where you want to add a button for your .pdf download

6. In the content side panel, scroll down until you find the .pdf button block. Click and drag the .pdf button block onto the desired area of your page.

7. Click on the “download” button and select the edit link icon that appears.

8. In the “edit link” pop-up window that appears, click on the pencil icon located in the link section.

9. In the .pdf uploader pop-up, click on the download icon located in the top-left.

10. Choose the appropriate .pdf from your File Explorer and click “open”.

11. Click the .pdf file that now appears in the .pdf uploader window and click “select”.

12. Now that you are back in the “edit link” pop-up windown, select the “new window” check box if you want to the .pdf to download in a separate tab and click “ok”.

13. Once the change has been made, click “save” and your new .pdf button is live and functional!
